Pie Baking for the Tacoma Rescue Mission
It’s time to start thinking of making Pumpkin Pies again for the Tacoma Rescue Mission. Pie crust rolling will start at 9 a.m. on Monday, November 19th, in the Fellowship Hall. We could use some more 8-9″ pie tins (similar to the ones displayed in the Narthex). During the year #10 cans of pumpkin and evaporated milk have been purchased, so if you would to contribute to that or for the 8-9 dozen eggs needed, see Joyce Magnusson. This is a fun and productive time that you won’t want to miss! Kids, men, and those who want to learn, are very welcome. Come when you can and leave when you want.

AmazonSmile is the same Amazon you know. It’s the same products, same prices and the same service. All you have to do is designate Hillside Community as the charitable organization of your choice and then start your shopping at smile.amazon.com. Sign up for the Prayer Chain!
In James 5:13-16, God calls us to pray for the hurting and sick and to uphold one another in prayer. One of the ways we do this as a congregation is through the prayer chain. Requests are called in and e-mails and calls go out to notify participants of the need for prayer. Those that sign up can choose to be notified by phone or e-mail. If you would like to be a part of this valuable ministry, please contact Joyce Magnusson.
Youth Group Help Needed!
Would you like to contribute to our growing Youth Group ministry? The growth is great and the needs are greater! And if you or someone you know hasn’t checked out our Youth Group yet, come join them! We meet every Wednesday night at 6 PM.
If you have a mother-n-law apartment, spare bedroom, or guest house that could be used in case of an emergency right now, or for future reference, please contact Pastor Dan.
